...summer, that is. I went outside with my dog the other evening, it was very cool, I could hear the sounds of the local high school football game being played, and could smell someone's fireplace or firepit burning somehwere nearby, so I knew it wouldn't be long. Fall is just a few days away, and while it is normally my favorite season, I am kind of sad to see this summer come to an end. This summer, will always go down in my books, as the "Summer of Sammy", when Chickenfoot helped me discover the wonderful world of RedHeads.

Sammy, missed you guys at the fair, there was not enough info about the event! In otherwords I never read about it till you had already played and gone! Don't get me wrong, I've seen you in many forms, many times, Sammy Hagar, Van Halen, Wabos, love to see Chickenfoot in the san diego area. heard you might be touring with Aerosmith soon, I am hoping for the best! God, I keep missin all the shows because they don't let us know about them! You keep on rockin brother, love the tequilla!

I still can't get my pictures to upload, but I have to tell you I had the most amazing time. Everytime I see this band (or anyone in it) - I have unbelievable luck. We saw Joe and Chad at dinner and took some pics, and got them to sign my shirt. Very cool people! The next morning I stumbled down to Starbucks and saw Chad - the only one in line!! He turned and asked how I was doin? So I replied "better after coffee"....he stood there and talked to my husband and I for an hour!! Can you freakin believe it?

Down to 18 days til I get to Cabo, can't wait to get to the cantina and get the party started... See ya all there.

STANDING HAMTON 1982(Memorial Colasium. Portland or)Quarterflash opened the sow and were ok but Sammy just blew me away.I was only 13 at the time and was(still am)verry impressionable.But what an impression! The only downer about the whole nite was finding out that RANDY RHODES (another one of my guitar hero's) was killed in a plane crash.other than that it was one of the best nites of my teens.

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A FAN, BUT NEVER APPRECIATED HIM LIKE I DO NOW. I ENJOYED MYSELF SO MUCH AT HARVEY'S LAKE TAHOE SHOW. I WILL NEVER LISTEN TO HIS MUSIC THE SAME. IT WAS JUST MINDBLOWING!!!CHICKENFOOT IS THE BEST YET. AND IT WAS ALSO GREAT TO SEE AARON PLAY OPENING FOR HIS DAD.
THEY ARE THE BEST OUT THERE NOW. THERE IS NO COMPETITION.
THANKS FOR THE NIGHT. CAN'T WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN.

the firsttime i saw sammy in concert was in febuary of 1985 in denver colrado and ever since then i have been a huge fan . ihave seen him with van halen 7 or 8 times and solo 15 times or more. I went to the chickenfoot concert and it was a total blast! i think he is a great song writer and an awesome singer and i look forward to many more years of the redrocker!
