Everyone here knows how awesome Sammy is right? If you dont, you`re about to.
Those of you who went to the Venetian show already know this but for those who are just reading this or you`re planning to go to a show, you are in for a great time!!!

So here is a short story about the show we went to in Vegas at the Venetian.

The website and the Venetian both announced that Emeril Lagasse was a part of the show package. It turns out that it wasnt worded right and if you wanted to eat food from Emeril, you had to buy food tickets.

According to multiple publications Sammy will be playing Nationals Stadium in DC on August 29th after the baseball game.

A new album coming in September,just before the Birthday bash in October,Sammy will you be bringing some new friends from the album to the party in Cabo. Mas Tequila..

Back around 1971 or so I saw Taj Mahal play in San Francisco with Bro when we were in Justice Brothers and he knocked me out.  We had a chance to hang out a little he was a superstar to me since he had actually put out a couple albums already! This past weekend, over 40 years later we reconnected at the Mount Tam Jam festival and it was so cool that he remembered that time.  He just killed it in his set and talked about seeing each other again soon - maybe Cabo, or just next time he's in town.

What a day out at my local Sonoma Raceway - doing a little video shoot for the new solo album (more on that later) and getting to hang out with my driver buddies - outta sight!

I was given Sammy's book 'RED' two weeks ago and I think it's a helluva book. The music 'biz' is a tough place. So many people I've met, known, worked with/for were seemingly all out for themselves, that it is a revelation that Sammy went through so much- and SURVIVED! A truly great talent and I hope you rock on for another hundred years Sammy! What an inspiration....
