CWLV

I just wanted to take a minute and plead with anyone on this site to help improve the "Cabo Atmosphere" at the Las Vegas Cabo Wabo. I was there over the weekend and I wasn't feelin it. I understand that Sammy doesn't run the place or over see it but I know it does not have the feel that Sammy intended. I want to stay postitive so I will just leave it at that. Let's just say I ate most of my meals at Margaritaville and the Hard Rock Cafe.

Peace 5150Mike

Excitement to Disappointment

The excitement... I packed up my 2 little girls (5 and 9), wife (a true redhead) and headed into Toronto (about 40 miles to go). The book-signing was between 2-4pm... and I even called ahead of time to confirm the timing (and was told there was lots of time for us to make it).
The disappointment... We arrived at 3:10, only to find out Sammy and his crew had packed up and left. I tried explaining the situation to my older daughter (9), but she too was a little disappointed. Her favourite song is Dreams, and she wanted to meet Sammy in person to tell him that.

During his Canadian Music Week so-called "celebrity chat" at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada this afternoon (Saturday, March 12), legendary rocker Sammy Hagar (VAN HALEN, MONTROSE) revealed the title of the second CHICKENFOOT album, which he is currently recording with bassist Michael Anthony (VAN HALEN), guitarist Joe Satriani, and drummer Chad Smith (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS).

Just realizing......... Ü

Haven't talked to any of my redhead friends in awhile!! I just had to take the time to say..... I just saw STP in Vegas a couple of weeks ago. Man what a great concert! , but absolutely NO CROWD involvement with the band. They came out, sang songs, sounded great- end of story! Not one time did they talk to the crowd.... I was shocked! SOOOO NOT like any of Sammy's shows. We already knew that Sammy loves his fans, and tries to make every single one of us part of the show. It makes me appreciate how great he is even more than before. Thanks Sammy for doing what you do Ü
