FAN REVIEWS

I was planning a trip to Wisconsin to see my daughter. After I set the dates of the trip, I found out that Sammy Hagar was going to be in Green Bay. That was exactly the area that I was going to visit her. What luck!! I said to myself that there was no way I was going to be up there and not grab at the chance to see Sammy and the Wabos! Since I saw Van Halen on their reunion tour last summer in Little Rock and Wichita, I wanted to see Sammy with his band for the first time.

Well, I must say first of all, I am 75 years old. Here I was getting things together to go for the trip and one of my other daughters who just loves Sammy Hagar told me not even to return down here unless I got his autograph. She told me to take my white visor hat in hopes of maybe getting it signed. So I did. I talked my sister and my niece into going to the show. We waited in great anticipation for 2 hours in line to get into the general admission show. And what a fantastic show it was. It was so great to see Michael Anthony there too with him. I wasn't sure if he would be there so that was a great surprise. Fans up in Wisconsin just love Sammy and they went wild.

We were in the 3rd row and it was standing room only. It was just so much fun being that close to the stage. There were two ladies in the rows ahead of me and they helped me get the visor up on the stage. Sammy got it and wore it for a couple of songs. I just wished I had a picture of that!! Took it off and set it up by one of the drum sets. He continued to sign other items and hand them back. Then I started to think........Oh No, My visor!.......Sign the visor! He finally picked it up and signed it. Handed it back and the two ladies who were so kind to get it up to the stage made sure I got it back. He was looking around wondering where to hand it back and one of the ladies started to wave her arms. I was just so excited. I will treasure that for a long time to come.

It was great to hear songs of his that I have never heard before and it was also great to hear some Van Halen songs as well. The Pinata at the end of the show was excellent too. He sure looks like he is having a great time. I won't be forgetting that show anytime soon and am glad I had the opportunity to go. Would do it again in a heart beat!! Thank you Sammy!!
