SALAMANCA, NEW YORK: (August 4, 2022) – Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino announced that this Saturday’s outdoor concert by Sammy Hagar & The Circle has been postponed due to illness.
“I was holding out hope that I’d kick this sinus infection in time to perform tomorrow but unfortunately woke up today and realized that’s just not possible,” Hagar said. “My apologies to the Redheads for the inconvenience, I hope to make it up to you soon! Stay tuned.”
“We are obviously disappointed, as we know Sammy’s many fans are, as well. We wish him a speedy recovery,” said Kevin Nephew, Seneca Gaming Corporation President & CEO.
While Sammy Hagar & The Circle will not be performing, Seneca Allegany announced that American rock band Dirty Honey, who were scheduled to open Saturday night’s show, will now perform a free concert starting at 8pm this Saturday, August 6. The concert is General Admission and open to all. Gates open at 6pm.
Original tickets for Sammy Hagar & The Circle will be honored for a new show date (when announced) or refunds will be available up to 14 days prior to a rescheduled date from the original point of ticket purchase with proof of purchase.

Sammy is this concert absolutely canceled no refund yet. Do you even read comments on here well you went on FB saying the show was postponed will maybe make it up to us fans then all the sudden we received a notice from ticketmaster the show is canceled but did you post on FB that the show was absolutely canceled no you did not like somewhat let us fans down. I spent a lot of time booking a hotel planning the three hour trip over the border where to have dinner with my spouse but hell know you cannot announce yourself that the show is completely canceled not very pleased at all. Still love yea man how about a Canadian tour with the new album Sammy.

The Ticketmaster online chat agent just told me that the new date for Salamanca is 8-2-2024. 2 years away. Also- no refunds will be issued on any tickets resold through Ticketmaster. We had a cancellation and had to resell 4 tickets which we did on the Ticketmaster site. They were sold on 7-2. Ticketmaster never forwarded the money back to my account and tonight told me basically I have to eat them. Shady - but anyhow , the date was rescheduled for 8-2 -2024.
I was just told by Ticketmaster that the Salamanca show has been rescheduled for 8-2 -2024 and no refunds are being offered on any tickets resold on Ticketmaster for the 8-6 -2022 canceled show. We are out $355 for the 4 tickets that we resold on the supposedly safe Ticketmaster site

I have been doing this, traveling to Sammy Concerts since 1979! Grew up an hour from Salamanca now 7 hours to get there, but hey get to stop and see family. Then Sammy comes home to see me in Cincinnati. I will be there for that one also. Can’t score Cabo tickets I need to just crash that party. Oh by the way we raised 3 Red Heads first concerts for kids when they were 8, 11 and 12 was Van Hagar. See you all this weekend!
