The Red Voodoo Tour

Sammy Hagar and the “Mighty” Waborita’s played in Rockford, IL. last
night, and I couldn’t have asked for a better show from them. I have
seen Sammy plenty of times, with and without Van Halen. He has never
looked happier than he does right now. The show last night was just
plain fun. From the opening of “Cabo Wabo” to the closing of “High and
Dry,” it was a very entertaining evening. There was also a few suprises
thrown in…including the song, “Your Love Is Driving Me Crazy.” It’s
nice to hear some of his “other” hits you don’t hear him play that
often.

The band seemed as though they have finally found their own,
especially Mona who seems to be enjoying herself without any reserve.
The band is “feeling” the music, instead of just “playing” it. It was by
far the best I have ever seen from Sammy. Can’t wait until the next time
around. Thank you for a kick ass rock-n-roll concert, which seems so
hard to find these days.
