This official music video for "Sam I Am" from the "Livin' It Up" album was originally released in 2006 and remastered to 4K in 2021 for the 15th anniversary of the album. Audio was updated with the remixed version from Sammy's 2016 release "This Is Sammy Hagar: When The Party Started, Vol 1".

Bob Daspit's remix from scratch started simply as a test mix for a new category of effect plugins for console and tape simulations. “When I finished and listened back I realized it was vastly superior - the drums, the guitar, everything just sounded better and the groove felt deeper. It was really happening so I sent it to Sammy with a note that this is how I wish we could have done it the first time."
