I did a surprise acoustic set with the band Sister Dass tonight at the Cabo Wabo Cantina. We played 45 minutes to 100 surprised guests. It was fantastic - I've never done that patio thing in 26 years. Wow, be doing some more of that! Ps. Blew the PA up on Red Voodoo oooops! Ha. 26th anniversary week starting off with a bang. This was at the Cabo Wabo Cantina - Lake Tahoe tonight. Andrew Hagar and Kelly Kristofferson who call themselves the "Appalachian Murder Bunnies" performed some covers and some really cool originals. Later, I joined them with Aaron S. Hagar, Kari, Samantha, and the man himself, Kris Kristofferson. We finish the night off with me and Bobby McGee, Kris, and daughter Kelly bringing tears to my eyes - it was a family affair to say the least

This was Friday night at the Cabo Wabo Cantina with Tre Cool of Green Day and his wife Sarah.

We performed a bunch of tunes including "Hit Me With Your Best Shot", "White Wedding", "Should I Stay or Should I Go?", "Born on the Bayou", and a couple Green Day songs. It was a really a fun night Sarah's birthday is today (3/6).... looks like Groundhog Day to me!

Trey and I also did "Winding Down" and "Little White Lie" just the two of us we called ourselves the "No Keys" hah!

Last night's monthly wine collectors' dinner was the best ever. Right Bank Bordeaux was the theme with lots of Saint Emilion and Pomerol, some of the highlights were '75 Petrus and '82/'86 Chevel Blanc - both phenomenal wines (everyone dug deep into their cellars)! 

Toby and I got to drinking some Smoky Margaritas in honor of Monday's National Margarita Day before we jammed for over an hour at the Cabo Wabo Cantina this weekend. 

I arrived in Cabo Tuesday for a last-minute trip with the family -- I sent Toby a selfie of me on the beach and he couldn't take it, so he got on his airplane & got here Thursday!

We're going to tear it up tonight - I love that guy we seem to roll the same direction, mostly south of the border ha ha!

Had a blast the other night at Clive Davis' party with Sylvester Stallone & his wife Jennifer, plus Courtney Love & Avril Lavigne and many others!! Maybe Sly has an Oscar in store for him this year...who knows?!?

We were up real late - we finished up the night with an early morning pizza and beer on the couch, ouch haha.

We had our Valentine's Day dinner last night because we had other plans tonight, but what a beautiful place the Montage Laguna Beach is - one of our favorite romantic spots on the west coast and they treat us like we're celebrities! ha ha!

For dinner they gave me a chefs uniform and made me come into the kitchen and cook some of our courses for Kari, Kama, Samantha, and our friends Rick and Carrie!

I did The Big Interview with Dan Rather yesterday. It went great and afterwards I took Dan Rather for a ride in the LaFerrari. Dan and the crew had eaten at El Paseo the night before and then last night after the interview, Kari and I had dinner with Kiefer Sutherland, Bob & Natasha Weir, Danny Zelisko, Jude Cole (great song writer) and my oldest friends in the world, Johnny & Edwina Barbis!

The food was fantastic as usual and the company was almost as good hahahaha! 

On Saturday, I went to the Metallica show. This was backstage before the show with Lars and James, then I went to the Red Hot Chili Pepper pre-Super Bowl private party and hung out with my good buddy, Chad. 

Sammy is everywhere! hee he he!
