Recently, DANCE OF THE ELECTRIC HUMMINGBIRD was nominated in multiple categories for a 2013 CIPA EVVY Award. Merely to be nominated is a tremendous honor, but during the awards ceremony on May 18, 2013, CIPA judges chose DANCE OF THE ELECTRIC HUMMINGBIRD from among thousands of entries to win the "Merit Book" award in the category of Autobiography/Memoirs.

In Tahoe, Sammy Hagar personally bought several copies of my book "Dance of the Electric Hummingbird". He had me sign them, then he was going to sign them and place them for sale in the Cabo Wabo gift shop in Harrah's in South Lake Tahoe. There were only 6 books but they will be collector's items--having *both* our signatures on them! My book is about how Sammy personally changed my life and is fully endorsed by him.
