Yes...you are correct he is 63 and has more energy than me at 43....LOL!!!! It was a great show and I haven't see Sammy since the 2004 Van Halen reunion tour. He has a knack for personal interaction with his fans that few entertainers have!!
I was at the show and totally agree with everything you said. I haven't seen Sammy in years and have really missed him! I had a great time and can't wait to see him when Chickenfoot comes around! Sammy truly loves his fans- there is no doubt! The volume was a little loud for me but other than that I had a fantastic time. By the way, Sammy is 63 and you would never know it. He has more energy than anyone I know and I just love him!
Saw Sammy last night at the House of Blues in Atlantic City. I have been a fan of Sammy's since the early eighties and all through the Van Halen years. I give this guy all the credit in the world. He is involved with restaurants and night clubs, has his own company which produces his own brand of Tequila, tours and records with Chickenfoot, tours with the Wabos, and all the while has time to write a best selling autobiography. Not that 62 is old, but christ!!!!!! This guy still puts on one hell of an energetic show. The only way to describe it is its as if Sammy himself has invited you over to his house to personally perform for you and party it up while celebrating life....drink....and music!!!! He pays strict attention to his audience while keeping the show very personal....its as if you and Sammy have been old pals for years and he is performing for each and every member of the audience personally. His voice sounds better than ever and his energy and love of life and music is infectious. You leave the show with a feeling that you have just been to the most enjoyable party in your life. Its a great time and I highly recommend it to any Red Rocker fan!!!! Can't wait until he is back in the area for another show!!!!!
