One song I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who has

Used to do this when we had LP's...glue two songs together on cassette that never existed in the real world. Remember when mix tapes were actually on tape?

...had to put a nickle on top of the record and then mark where it was in the rotation when the instant the song started, so you'd know when to take your finger off the "PAUSE" button on the cassette deck...

Black Sabbath, Mob Rules - 1981 - guitar solo before Mob Rules was called E5150

right at the instant when Mob Rules was supposed to start...

...I glued in "I Don't Need Love" by Sammy, from Three Lock Box

out of the loop for too long, hanging on to the oldies

Putting my iTunes library back together recently as iTunes does what it does (fail)...rediscovered all my Hagar. Standing Hampton - There's Only One Way to Rock was the first; walked backward to find Montrose. Three Lock Box was always my favorite; VOA had that moment.

you remember THAT moment?

Most of the time we hear a song on the radio, and after hearing it ten times and never really picking up on it, then we tune in and realize we like it enough to buy it...but sometimes after you've bought the album, you're alone in your room and you hear the song for the first time

Chickenfoot III CD

Just got the CD yesterday. IT ROCKS!! Love that it has the 3D effects. The note on the CD itself was awesome. I may be 32, but I do know what an 8 track is as I owned a few. Thing about mix tapes...that was me, too...I think I may have to join the 21st century and buy an Ipod so I don't wear this CD out. Thanks for the pics and the "extras" inside. Do you think anyone would find it weird that I have a pic of Sammy next to a pic of my husband in my cube at work? They are not that too far off in age and both are equally hot. ;) Anyway, the CD rocks!
