Sammy and me...early history
Sammy and me...early history

The year was 1973, my buddy Richie calls me up and says come on over you've got to hear this new record by a band called Montrose, when I got there I was blown away with Bad Motor Scooter & Rock the Nation which became our top party tunes, then we got The Fire in '74.
Then almost as quickly as Sammy appeared,he was gone.
Fast forward to 1977, we are partying at the Airliner Cabaret in north Calgary with our favorite band Spunk and they have a new song...

BDay tickets

Y a know, I have been down to Cabo for many moons. I even planned vacations there revolving around your B Day parties, man those were fun. Even the line was a great time. Ya know, I think first come first served is a good concept, but I dont think that is really fair to alot of people that just have slow pcs or dont have access to pcs while they are at work. I was listening to KLOS sometime in the eighties and the DJ said on Monday send a stamped self addresed envelope with a money order for the price of the tickets, I think they were like $20.00, you could buy up to four.

A little levity

Here's the story of a Blonde woman... who prided herself on being self sufficient. Unfortunately she was short on cash so she decided to visit a friend who might have some work around the house.
She knocked on the door at Mr. H's house and he answered, "hey sweetie, what's happening?"
"Well Sam, I need to make some money. Do you have anything I can do around here?"
Sam smiled (heh heh heh) :::but seriously:::
"Sure, you can paint my porch"
