“The Red Rocker Exchange”

The Red Rocker himself, Sammy Hagar, who among his many musical accomplishments, enjoyed a day at the drag races for the NHRA 20^th Annual Fram Autolite Nationals on July 29, 2007.  Sammy Hagar was at Sunday’s final eliminations as a guest of the four-time NHRA PowerAde Top Fuel world Champion Tony Schumacher “The Sarge” and the US Army Race Team.  Hagar brought an autographed guitar to trade with Schumacher for an autographed helmet.  The exchange took place at the US Army pit area between first and second round of eliminations, in addition, Sammy and Tony had a meet & greet session with the fans signing autographs.  As the founder of one of the truly premium Tequilas in the world (Cabo Wabo Tequila), Sammy is an avid car fan and has a special love for drag racing.  It was a perfect day as Tony Schumacher took the win in Top Fuel to make Sammy Hagar’s helmet a winning helmet!  Cabo Wabo Tequila was being enjoyed by everyone in the winners circle.
