Cabo Wabo Birthday Bash Tickets October 8, 9, 11, and 13 2010
This is how the system will work:
Tickets will be sold through Redrocker.com for $55 per ticket.
There will be a two ticket limit per person per show.
Tickets will be non refundable, non transferable and there are NO service charge fees. All sales are FINAL
We will accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
Purchased tickets will be available for pick up at the Cantina (2 pm to 10 pm) October 8, 9, 11 and 13th.
Tickets for each show will be available for pick up day of show only.
Ticket purchases will be made through a “PayPal†account similar to the current “On Stage†ticketing system.
You do not need a pay pal account to purchase a ticket, you can continue your purchase as a guest. Once you make a purchase you will receive a transaction ID number. You will want to keep this number for your records incase you have any issues. Your name MUST match the name on the purchasing credit card or pay pal account and you will be required to show proper photo ID to pick up your tickets (Drivers License or Passport). NO EXCEPTIONS
If it’s your Birthday:
If your birthday on either October 8,9,11, or 13th. Simply show up to the Cantina after 2pm that day with your government issued ID (Drivers License or passport) and you will receive an entry bracelet for that day’s show.
Dinner Shows
Dinner shows will be $90 per person
Dinner shows tickets sales will remain as in the past, they will be sold at the Cantina, first come first serve.
Dinner tickets will be sold at noon on the following dates:
October 7th for the Shows on the 8th and 9th
October 10th for the Shows on the 11th and 13th
2 tickets per person, added security will be added to those in line so we will not allow anyone to hold places in line for friends.
Please note that these will be the ONLY tickets available and no additional tickets will be given away day of show!
The rest will remain the same and the party will be better that ever!
Doors for all shows will be at 7:00pm and show time will be approximately 9:30pm

Tickets will go on sale Monday August 2, 2010. The schedule will be as follows, all times are PST (Pacific Standard Time):

YAHOOOO, I got my ticket for the 13th..... Cabo here we come!!!
THIS WAS OUR 1ST TRIP. WE BOOKED A NONREFUNDABLE TRIP FOR SAMMY'S BIRTHDAY. COULD NOT GET TO THE PAY PART OF THE SHOPPPING CART. IF HAD KNOWN THE RULES WERE CHANGING WE WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED THE TRIP. I DON'T EVEN WANT TO GO NOW. SUCKS.
I realise that we live in the age of no truth allowed, and everything has to be politically correct, but I have spent 3 & 1/2 hours of my time & $ on internet usage & haven't been able to get 1 ticket to 1 of the 4 Cabo shows. extremely frustrating & disappointing. the system was much better the way it was before- AT LEAST IF YOU WERE IN LINE BY 7AM YOU WOULD GET A TICKET NOT RELYING ON INTERNET TECHNOLOGY .
ALSO DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW IT CAN GO FROM FREE TO $55 - WHAT ABOUT $10.13 FOR THE BIRTHDAY BASH NUMBERS.IS THE $55 GOING TO A CABO CHARITY.WILL BE TRYING TO CHANGE FLIGHTS,ETC AS NOT MUCH POINT WHEN YOU CAN'T EVEN GET A TICKET -YET THE LAST TWO TIMES I'VE BEEN THERE I'VE GOT TICKETS TO ALL BUT 1 SHOW.NEEDS TO BE CHANGED AGAIN AS THIS IS SHORTCHANGING THE REAL FANS.
I feel extremely fortunate to be able to have gotten tickets for the 11th and 13th shows. I agree with everyone who said, "If it's not broke don't fix it!" I have great memories of partying on the sidewalk, that's part of the journey to see Sammy. I'm disappointed in the ticketing process this year. If I didn't have 2 T1 lines coming into my office I may not have been able to get tickets. Too many people trying to do the same thing at the same time.
I really hope next year is back to the original way of doing tickets.
Sammy, please revisit the process again next year! I too have missed out on a couple shows (Tahoe) because of internet issues, and I know how everyone feels. It's frustrating.

Stress much?!? We are from Australia and got up at 3.30am to get tickets for 9, 11 and 13...missed out on 9 but got 11 and 13 so we are happy BUT the ticketing system kind of sucks, it kept crashing all the time. On the upside, we are not going to come to Cabo from Australia and then miss out on getting in so Whoop for that. This is our first time in Cabo and we can't wait:)
MY COMMENT IS THIS WAS JUST AWEFUL. WE BOUGHT AND PAID FOR OUR TRIP TO SEE SAMMY. HAD WE KNOWN THE RULES WOULD CHANGE FOR GETTING TICKETS WE WOULD NOT HAVE PAID FOR A NONREFUNDABLE TRIP. THE SYSTEM WAS SO BOGGED DOWN WE COULD NOT EVEN GET TO THE SHOPPING CART TO PAY. STINKS. DO NOT EVEN WANT TO GO NOW. :(
I guess this year will not be the same, had tickets in my cart 3 times went to pay for them and got kicked out each time, ticketing system is not good. Hope this is the last time they do the ticketing thing. Guess will be spending 3x value on the street.

The 11th show sold out in another record breaking 12 minutes!!
We Tried to get tickets for the 11th and i kept getting kicked off. What a pain in the ass! I really hope i can score tickets for the 13th but i think that will be even harder:(
I got as far as entering my personal info then got booted out - couldn't get back on!!!

you have to try several times due to server errors but it works. Make sure you set up an account on www.redrockertickets.com to make it easier. You have to log into your paypal acct in step 2 or 3 of checkout. Be patient, it should work. I have not had issues other than being kicked off and having to re-log in.
Even though I have gotten 3 show tix I am not happy about this system at all. Sux no matter what!
right on the hour they go on sale, go to www.redrockertickets.com I suggest you register before hand, it makes it faster. The server keeps going down so you may have to try several times for tickets. Click Cantina Tickets and order your 2 in the cart - continue to checkout several times. Do you have a paypal acct? I do and have not had a problem. You will need to log into paypal once you are in step 2 or 3 of the checkout process. I had to do this 8-10 times due to server traffic. Good luck.
wow ,i missed out on 3 shows,i've called paypal and got nowhere,tried facebook and got nowhere,reached out to friends and got no lifeline to get tickets.i'm tyring to find the path to victory of one ticket for the 13th show?!i need a lifeline anyone-help?; )

Ok. I take back what I was thinking. While it would never even show the option to buy tickets for the 8th and 9th for me when they should have been available...it did finally show for the 11th and it let me pay for the tickets. Sweetness. This will be a great show. Anyone been to Cabo before know of a great place to stay?

Yep...in a bit of a panic here. Have watched this thing today and have not seen any of the tickets other than fresno or orange county available as options. Not even when clicking on stage or cantina on that page. Fingers crossed something will show up that can be bought...
hi i tried the special tickets area and a big nadda to purchase tickets.the qwest continues.yikes!!!!!!!!!!!
It would not let my use Pay Pal for the Oct 9th tickets. I click on lower/middle right side of continue to purchase page - I can't remember what it said but i just typed in my credit card and it let me buy them. This whole process is driving me nuts but at least I was able to purchase tickets.

wow, what a frustrating situation,do i spend all that greenstuff on the price of tickets prior to getting my air/hotel? Also the thought of the cost of the tickets taking away the funds that would have been used toward the boozecruises,the guitar and boat and beachparty sammygear raffles,and the extras for the kids in the barrio-ouch!I so look forward to seeing all my redhead friends and hope for the best in the unknown sale on mon.-so many questions on things not addressed and im praying my pc works in my favor to get any tickets at all? a big hug to u all,see you at the wabo! I didn't like waiting in line like everyone else
who don't use locals... but we've never missed a
show while going down to Cabo ... 7/8 diff times
[ except the year Sammy played 3 shows in one day,
1st show I was in the barrio giving to the needy ]
we've always waited in line, be it for dinner shows
or daily wrist bands ... because the 1st yr we listen
to the ppl who'd waited in line for yrs before us, took
their advice and got in line ... as we continued to come
back we learned n try to tell all the other newbie's or
Cabo Virgins so they too can enjoy the CABO experience.
I for one think waiting in line is part of the whole
experience ... sum of the best times have happened
after the Cantina doors are closed ...
Remember the hurricane n staff tried to send us home ???
or tropical storms... we managed to survive while never
missing a show .

It does suck to spend so much $$$ to travel n have
to spend countless hours waiting in line but they

We have seen Sammy more times than I want to count and
none come close to Cabo shows ... maybe Tahoe Cabo's
grand opening ... 4 days of the greatest music I've
experienced next Woodstock '94' ...
I don't want to buy tix in advance and may have to sit
this year out while waiting to see how all this works.
We also try to get dinner tix's ... as stated you buy
daily tixs one won't get reimbrused for $$$ already spent,
not to mention they jumped to $90 apiece .
I don't like change ... let me sleep on the Cabo-stone
and I'm sure I'd see every show ...
because that's why we are there ...
this new way assures me nothing
I work hard for my money, wish I didn't have to work at all

Redheads....Just a suggestion and clarification for a smooth Monday......
We suggest all Redheads familiarize themselves with the paypal process so they can have a smooth day on Monday, either open an account that will be linked to your bank account or at the very least become familiar with how the system works using a credit card. If you are setting up an account, make sure your name matches the name on your account. If you have a business account, make sure you have your personal name attached to the account. If you are using someone else's credit card to make a purchase, make sure that card is attached to your account so your name will be on the reservation. Remember your name must match the name on the reservation.
