Bridge School Concerts

November 10, 2007

For the past 21 years, The Bridge School Concerts in Northern California are always an annual musical highlight. Hosted by Neil and Pegi Young every fall over the past two decades, many of the most inspiring artists performing today have appeared at these unique shows. The Bridge School and iTunes are proud to announce the release of Volume III of these live recordings, available exclusively on iTunes beginning November 13th.

The 20 songs available on The Bridge School Concerts Volume III are performed by Alanis Morissette, Death Cab For Cutie, Devendra Banhart, Eels, Green Day, Jerry Lee Lewis, Mazzy Star, Pete Townshend, Sammy Hagar, Sheryl Crow and The Who. This exciting collection covers the whole range of the different styles of music featured at the concerts over the years, with the musicians performing on acoustic instruments, sometimes for the very first time. These different musical settings allow audience favorites to come to life in new and vital versions, all part of the distinctive Bridge School Concerts tradition.

Each song is available for 99-cents, and all 20 can be purchased for the special price of $15.95. The songs range from Alanis Morissette’s “All I Really Want,” Green Day’s “Longview,” Sheryl Crow’s “If It Makes You Happy” to The Who’s “Won’t Get Fooled Again.”

The Bridge School ’s mission is ensuring that children with severe speech and physical impairments achieve full participation in their communities through the use of assistive technology and the development, implementation and dissemination of innovative educational strategies.
