New Tour Dates - Again nothing outside of the US?

I really don't get it, after all the tours of the UK and Europe in the early years when Sam was with Capitol Records, why are we so abandoned now?

Even the last time The Foot were here they only did 2 gigs and at the worst possible time of year weather-wise for the UK.

I know from other forums and friends that there are still masses of fans this side of 'the pond' so it's not like the gigs would be short on sales of tickets. Seems like we're always putting our hands in our pockets to support by purchasing the records and merchandise, supporting and promoting along the way, but get no payback for being faithful fans.

Just wanted to add, I'm not

Just wanted to add, I'm not ragging, just frustrated. It seems like there is no payback at all for being a long term fan from Europe - yes we could all buy tickets and fly to the US, but the logistics would be more insane than those for Sam/The Foot to do a real full tour over this side of the planet. I walk past a shop everyday in Newcastle Upon Tyne that still sells old Sam sew-on patches, including one from the Live, Loud & Clear tour. The place has at least half a dozen bits of SH merchandise in the window. There's still old Vinyl specialists selling everything from the first Montrose album, 9-on-a-10-scale right through to picture disks and limited radio promo disks. That's just one town. The audience is here, we're just all waiting, waiting, waiting....
