"David Bowie's 'Heroes' is one of my favorite songs ever, and a chance to tip our hat to all those frontline workers on every level from the grocery stores, to the policeman and firefighters, doctors etc. that put their own lives at risk & do their jobs to help others. For us it kind of sums up 2020, the whole year. And to release it so close to his birthday and passing just makes it that more special." - Sammy

All proceeds from the song "Heroes" will be donated to food banks nationwide.

This song has always been one of my favorite's from the Wabo era. Whenever we started a show with this song it always ended up being a great one. Sympathy for the Human - ain't it the truth.

It's episode 10 of the Circle @Home Sessions.

When I heard that Kurt Cobain had taken his own life, the first thing I thought of was I wish I were there and could have tried to save him. The original title for these lyrics were “I want to show you what love can do," but because it was such a dark horrible thing I just couldn’t shine a light on it. So I changed the final line to “Don’t tell me what love can do."

P.S. It was also the time of the breaking up of Van Halen, our last album and tour so it added a lot of emotion, negativity and pain in the original vocal performance which surfaced the second I started singing this song for the first time since 1995.

It's episode 9 of the Circle @Home Sessions. #CircleAtHome #SammyAndTheCircle #DontTellMeWhatLoveCanDo

I had the hardest time with this one because every time I came in singing, I started singing Led Zeppelin “Rock ‘n’ Roll”! It took me three damn takes. My favorite drummer and my favorite singer of all time – love this one hope you do too. Long live the music of John Bonham and Little Richard! #SammyHagar #LockdownSession #Lockdown

OK folks here you go... For What It’s Worth! Buffalo Springfield had so much talent in one band. This song is one of our favorites. We really had a blast doing this one and experimenting with visual overdubs. #MyFavoriteSoFar #KeepingItReal #LockdownSessions #LockdownChallenge #BuffaloSpringfield #ForWhatItsWorth
