Chickenfoot and a Helping Hand (or Foot)

Hey Redheads!

What an amazing opening 2 nights to the Foot's Road Test shows in SF and LA! I was so pumped to kick off the Road Test Tour in my home town and the crowd did not disappoint! The energy in the room was overflowing and Joe even blew up his amp! Keep those pictures and videos coming - I love to see how the shows look on your end and all of you guys partying it up! Click here to see the Facebook Gallery for the Road Test 2011.

Chuck Ruff (1951 - 2011)
Chuck Ruff (1951 - 2011)

I lost one of my old bandmates, Chuck Ruff today. Chuck was my drummer on Danger Zone and Street Machine and many many live tours together. I have only memories of great times and great music with Chuck.

My condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.

Birthday Bash for the History Books!
Birthday Bash for the History Books!

Tuesday night at the Cantina was another Cabo Wabo Birthday Bash jam for the history books! For those of you who missed the live stream, here’s the recap - we started out in high gear with a Los Tres Gusanos reunion and then moved into a Wabos set joined by Vinnie Paul, who killed some Van Hagar, followed by Brad Wilk, of Rage Against The Machine, who helped out on the Beastie Boys "Fight for the Right" with Guy Fieri on vocals. We ended the night on a high note with "The Assassin" Kenny Aronoff and a Zeppelin double shot!!!

Was that awesome or what?
Was that awesome or what?

OK Redheads, was that awesome or what? I am so excited to have shared all the new foot music with you worldwide and live!!! Last nights web cast was such a new experience for me and the whole band……we have never done something like this before and I had no idea how it would turn out, but the best way to share this music that I am so proud of is the way it was written….live and in the round……And now, like we can take a break…..we are going to Cabo and then a foot road test in November.
